Log OutFor $75 a month—less than $3 a day—you can make a student a part of your family. Your sponsorship will provide a student at the Young Living Academy in Ecuador with nutrition, school supplies, high-quality education, and much more! Most of all, you will provide hope as the student will realize that being born in poverty does not need to crush their educational dreams.
Sponsor a StudentThe Young Living Foundation Sponsor a Student program is an amazing opportunity for you to support and mentor a child in need. Our model allows you to have a one-on-one relationship with a sponsored child, while also pooling the donations of all sponsors so that we are able to provide resources to create lasting change for the children and the community.
For example, $10 from each $75-a-month sponsorship will go toward helping us expand the school so more students in and around Chongón can enroll in the Academy and receive the best education possible. It can also help us add more fundamental resources to the school, such as updated technology, kitchen and school ground equipment, and educational supplies. Additionally, $5 from every sponsorship will go to the D. Gary Young Global Leadership Fund for Higher Education that can provide scholarships for students after they graduate from the Academy so they can pursue a university degree or vocational training in pursuit of their career dreams.
Provides a top-notch education to your sponsored student (from pre-K to the equivalent of high school graduation) that is equal to or better than the current top school in their home country.
Supplies them with the right tools in the classroom and covers the cost of a nutritious school meal; a healthy child is able to stay in school and increase his or her learning ability.
Helps your sponsored student develop creative problem-solving skills with a curriculum that fosters leadership. They also build confidence and learn teamwork through sports, arts, music, dance, and other activities.
Combines your donation with support from other sponsors, so we can collectively lift an entire community by providing jobs in the local community and adding educational experiences into the academy’s curriculum, including field trips and other extracurricular activities.
Sponsoring a student means you are joining a child on a journey as they learn, grow, and chase their dreams. You will inspire them—and they will leave you inspired.
This is what makes sponsoring a student such an incredibly rewarding experience! Through regular emails, letters, images, and gifts, you and your family can build a personal relationship with your sponsored student.
You’ll come to know about your sponsored student’s family, community, interests, and dreams for the future. You will also potentially have the opportunity to meet your sponsored child at a Young Living recognition retreat or a foundation service trip.
You’ll discover the beauty of the student’s heritage as you become a part of their family, and you’ll gain a knowledge of another culture through a student’s eyes.
Your mentorship and direct connection will in turn give that student hope and motivate him or her to achieve more.
