A growing issue

130%

increase of online enticement of children for sexual acts in the U.S. from 2019 to 2021.

Resource: National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, CyberTipline 2021 Report.

82%

of child predators admitted to learning about their victims' likes or interests through social media networks.

Resource: Journal of Adolescent Health, 2010, 47(2). p. 183-190.

45-51%

of youth have been sexually harassed online. 45.1% of boys and 51.6% of girls have faced online sexual harassment.

Resource: The European Journal of Public Health, 2018, p. 1018-23.

As you can see from the numbers above, the prevalence of perpetrators grooming or sexually exploiting children online is growing at an alarming rate.

In response, and in partnership with Hope for Justice, we are launching three online training courses that will equip parents, guardians, and caretakers with the practical tools and effective techniques you need to help youth minimize risky online interactions and safely navigate social and gaming sites.

The training will launch on July 30, World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. Sign up for the FREE training now and take the pledge to protect our world’s young.

Digital exploitation

Youth today face more risk than ever before of being approached by traffickers through a digital device. The prevalence of perpetrators grooming and exploiting children online is growing at an alarming rate—up by a devastating 97.5% since 2020 according to some reports.

Education is key

Everyone has the potential to become a child advocate and to safeguard a child against exploitation and human trafficking. But first we need to understand the scope of the problem, the signs of exploitation, and how to respond or even report it.

equip & empower

The three-part training course will help parents and caregivers navigate the digital landscape—from social media to gaming platforms—so they can create a safe online environment with their children. The trainings will feature real life stories, relevant data, and interactive exercises to equip you with practical tools and effective techniques.
