Funds used for: 450 chickens, coop construction, feed, medication, feeder equipment.

Specy, Fina, and Florence have identified family land that they can use to build chicken coop to house their combined 450 chickens. They plan to have 200 chickens to grow and sell for meat, and 250 chickens for laying eggs to be sold on the local market. There will be 5 roosters kept separately to breed chick eggs in order to replenish the flock on a consistent basis. With each woman being a single mother, they look forward to now employing their previous experience with chickens to create a better life for their families.
