In 2018, we heard about the community of the Alejandro T. Manaog Elementary School, and how they were devastated by not one but two typhoon's that tore off roofs, crumbled walls, and left classrooms unsafe. Many children stopped attending because their school was no longer a secure place to learn.
These children already face the challenges of poverty and food insecurity. For some, school is the only chance at stability—yet even there, resources are so limited that many students go without a healthy meal. Hunger and malnutrition affect not only their ability to focus and learn, but also their long-term health and opportunities in life.
Since restoration efforts began, we’ve already seen incredible change. Students are returning. Learning is happening again. Hope is being rebuilt, brick by brick. But the need is still great—and this is where you can help.
This year, I’ll be returning to the Philippines to help restore the school, and your donation can directly impact these children’s future.
Every dollar helps rebuild safe classrooms.
Every act of generosity gives a child the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.
Together, we can restore not just a school, but a future full of possibility.
