A Recent June 2026 Update from Healing Faith Uganda
A mother crossed Lake Victoria in the middle of the night carrying her sick child.
She wasn't traveling for convenience. She was searching for life-saving care.
After hours of travel, she arrived at a Young Living Foundation funded malaria clinic, operated by our local Ugandan partner, Healing Faith, where a nurse immediately began treating her child for severe malaria through the night.
For many families in rural Uganda, access to healthcare is not a walk away. It is often a difficult journey made out of desperation, driven by faith, and hope.
Stories like this remind us why our partnership with Healing Faith matters.
Because when families have nowhere else to turn, compassionate medical care can mean the difference between life and death.
Impact in May 2026
Through your support and together with our local partner, we provided malaria prevention, education, testing and treatment and community outreach across Uganda.
Malaria Testing & Treatment
2,388 patients tested for malaria
1,110 positive cases identified and treated
53 pregnant mothers tested
16 pregnant mothers tested positive and received care
263 severe malaria cases identified
Health Education
1,271 households received malaria prevention education
1,424 individuals participated in health education efforts

Prevention Starts Before Illness
Our work in Uganda extends beyond treatment.
Through Healing Faith’s community education and outreach, families learn practical ways to prevent malaria, recognize symptoms early, and seek care before illnesses become life-threatening.
These efforts help create healthier communities while reducing preventable illness among children and families living in remote areas.
Every household visited, every mosquito net distributed, and every educational conversation helps build a stronger foundation for long-term health.
